The head of the Institute for Diagnostic and Interventional radiology (Prof. Dr. Thomas J. Vogl) is striving to continuously improve the patient care, research and teaching in the field of diagnostic and interventional radiology and stay at par with the newest technology and standard. In view of this the Quality Management System (QM System) was established and a policy of quality developed.

The content of this policy is summerised in the following 10 points:

1.	The patient forms the centre of work policy.
2.	We strive for high quality patient care in a friendly environment.
3.	Special aims in terms of quality are worked at to continuously improve patient care.
4.	The achievements are constantly verified
5.	The policy of quality management also covers all the involved departments.
6.	We lay a lot of worth on good cooperation with different departments.
7.	Every employee is responsible for the quality of his/her work.
8.	All employees should be actively involved in the process of constantly improving the quality of service.
9.	All the employees are regularly informed about the current status of the quality measures and policy.
10.	We lay a lot of importance in efficient and effective work performance.
